Suppressing Female Sexuality??

On Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears:
"The reason that I don't dress trashy is that I'm trying to set an example for little girls. From the time they're seven or eight years old, (girls) are being taught that the only thing that makes them special and beautiful is their sexuality, and I think that's wrong."
--Christian pop singer from Nashville, Tenn., Stacie Orrico

My thoughts:
Somebody just shoot me now.

Take it from a girl who couldn't have dressed "trashy" even if she was kickin' enough to do so... A girl's sexuality IS important. Not only that, every girl wants and deserves to express herself any way she chooses. They shouldn't be afraid of their sexuality, nor should they be forced to suppress it. That's like telling them it's something dirty, and it's not.

Sexuality is the most natural thing left in this world (and that includes all forms therein--straight, gay, lesbian, bi, or whatever floats your boat). It's all biology, and no one can stop that from happening, no matter how conservatively they choose to dress when in the public eye.

Oh, and just for the record... this chick said this in an article about the MTV Asian Awards. She was nominated for Best Breathrough Artist. I think Tatu might've taken home the award. *isn't positive, though*
