Today's Nyk's sixth birthday!

I should know, I'd just turned 20 when he was born.

It's really strange how you can know that you're old, but not really feel it until you see a child grow up.

I remember kids that I used to watch in the nursery at my church (waaaaay back when I still attended--prior to the age of 14-15). They were BABIES, and now they're in high school or just starting college!

It's depressing, really.

When Nyk turns ten, I'll be thirty. It'll be a big deal to him.

Well, at least one of us will be ecstatic with getting older...
